Salt glaze fruit bowl 2nd

2nd because of a chip on the rim that happened before it was fired. It's not obvious from above. This bowl had different coloured slips added to the surface before it was fired in our new salt glaze kiln. The hand painted mark in the middle stands in contrast to the rigid concentric bands of colour . It has been heavily reduced so it has a dark brown and almost metallic finish. It is wide and low making it an ideal fruit bowl.
